The Lagos State Physical Planning Permit Authority (LASPPPA) has sealed a branch of “The Place Eatery” located at Herbert Macaulay Way in the Yaba area of Lagos.
The eatery was sealed due to the illegal remodeling of premises without obtaining a Remodelling Permit from the Authority.
The Lagos State Government revealed this after sharing photos on their X handle on Tuesday, October 24.
This operation was carried out by the General Manager of the Lagos State Physical Planning Permit Authority (LASPPPA) Kehinde Osinaike, alongside the LASPPPA District Officer.
Osinaike explained that the action became necessary after a notice served to the organization went unheeded adding he further stated that the LASPPPA is committed to Zero Tolerance for illegal development in Lagos State.
The caption reads: “The Lagos State Physical Planning Permit Authority LASPPPA over the weekend sealed up a branch of “The Place Eatery” at Herbert Macaulay Way, Yaba for illegal remodeling of their premises without obtaining a Remodelling Permit from the Authority.
“The seal up was carried out by the General Manager LASPPPA, Tpl Kehinde Osinaike in conjunction with the LASPPPA District Officer in that area and some other staff of the Authority while on a monitoring for enforcement exercise in the axis.
“While sealing the premises, the GM explained that the action became necessary after notices served the organization went unheeded.
“Osinaike further reiterated LASPPPA’s commitment to Zero Tolerance to illegal development in Lagos State.”
